Why Blue Willow?

1. I would love to have a tea shop some day and blue willow china is what I would use.

2. Having a cup of tea is good for us physically and mentally, and it promotes the use of good manners.

3. Tea is a universal drink - you can "have tea" in almost any country in the world.

4. I have pleasant memories of teaching many, many 4th graders the "Legend of the Blue Willow" and then segueing off to talk about China......

5. I love blue and white.

A New Beginning

I have been wanting to get started on a blog for some time and at last the time has come!  I plan to offer resources to teachers, parents, home schooling parents and student teachers on geography, education and raising kids today and somehow, as well, share my love of anything food related. Here goes!
