Why Blue Willow?

1. I would love to have a tea shop some day and blue willow china is what I would use.

2. Having a cup of tea is good for us physically and mentally, and it promotes the use of good manners.

3. Tea is a universal drink - you can "have tea" in almost any country in the world.

4. I have pleasant memories of teaching many, many 4th graders the "Legend of the Blue Willow" and then segueing off to talk about China......

5. I love blue and white.

I love your travel comments. I share your love of geography and feel your comments reflect your appreciation for the cultures you've encountered. There are so many amazing ways to teach and your ideas are wonderful. I hope GAW 2009 is as great as it can be in Rhode Island! Coffee is my cup of tea but I do love Blue Willow and Martha Stewart recipes! I will try that Peach Buckle.Thank you.
